Navigating in Student Administration

Navigating in Student Administration is a hands-on class designed specifically for staff in the Core Offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, and CPS. This 1.5 hour class will focus on the basic navigation required to begin using Student Administration. After completing Navigating in Student Administration, you will be able to:

  • Login into the Student Administration database.
  • Navigate the menu structure.
  • Recognize how to use the search pages and the search features.
  • Recognize the different data entry fields and successfully enter data in each type of field.
  • Recognize and discuss effective dates.

The pre-requisite to taking this course is to complete the on-line SA Overview presentation, available via the Student Administration website at www.umbc.edu/sa. Navigate to the End-User Support tab.
