Procedure for ETD Transfer, Conversion, and Load into CONTENTdm

Programs needed:

  • Notices from Proquest that files are available.
  • Filezilla.
  • Proquest FTP login info.
  • ETD Directory on hard drive with pdf and xml subdirectories.
  • 7-Zip.
  • Adobe Acrobat Standard.
  • Microsoft Excel.
  • CONTENTdm Project Client.

#Remove any old content from your ETD folder and it's PDF and XML sub-folders.
