Depending on the version of Android, the wording of the steps below may be slightly different on your device.
To connect your Android OS device to the UMBC eduroam network:
Click the Settings application.
Choose Wireless & Networks.
Select Wi-Fi Settings.
Click on the eduroam network
If presented with a Credentials Manager password prompt, enter your Droid Credentials Manager password. (This is not your myUMBC password. If you do not know the Credentials Manager password, clear it by going to Settings > Location and Security > Clear storage, then repeat steps 2-4.)
If option to Validate Certificate is presented select "Do not validate".
Enter your full UMBC email address (username@umbc.edu, for example) in the Identity field.
Leave the Anonymous Identity field blank.
Enter your myUMBC password in the Wireless password field.
