Tell Me

There are several parts involved in posting an FAQ article to the wiki. To ensure that each step in the process is easy to follow and easy to repeat we have broken the larger process into smaller steps.

This section will walk you through how to post the "Tell Me" portion of your FAQ

  1. Log in to the FAQs by clicking Log In in the top righthand corner.

  2. Navigate to where you'd like your FAQ article to go.
  3. Click the Create in the menu bar at the top of the page.

  4. Select the FAQ Article template.
  5. Click the Create button.
  6. Enter a title for your FAQ in the box that says New Page.

Your title should be written in the form of a question. Additionally, keep in mind that articles are typically found through searching, so be sure to include the name of the service you're discussing in the title as well. (e.g. "Why can't I see my Blackboard course? NOT "How to See Your Course")

  7. Read the Special information in the info box.

Remember to DELETE the Info box before you save the article! To remove the Info box, click on the “Info” area and click the Remove button.
  8. Under Tell Me heading, type or copy the text of your FAQ quick explanation and/or the steps to resolve the FAQ.
  9. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
