If a user is already in your course and you want to change their role:
Under the Course Management section of the Course Menu, select the Control Panel.
Click on Users and Groups.
Select Users.
Click on the contextual menu button (down-facing chevron) to the right of the name of the user whose role you wish to change, and select the Change User's Role in Course option.
Choose a new role for the user.
Click Submit.
