Alerts

myUMBC alerts to students will be enhanced.  In addition to alerting to things like authorization for classes and permission for classes they now will also serve as a "to do" list.  They will remind students of important things like documents that must be submitted to financial aid, when a bill or a parking ticket needs to be paid, and many other action items.

Financial Aid

Students will be able to access enhanced financial aid and scholarship information through their self-service page. They will be able to view awards and scheduled disbursements in an easy to read format. In addition, the new Alerts feature will inform students about information that is needed to process their application. This should reduce delays in getting financial assistance to students.

Billing

In self-service, students will be able to view their e-bills, make online payments, and review their balances without creating an additional e-billing account!  Also new, students will be able to enroll in a monthly payment plan through myUMBC .
