Yes, you can take yourself off a waitlist for a class following the same procedures you would use for dropping a class. However, note the following:
- If you are enrolled in one section (i.e.: lab section) but waitlisted in the other (i.e.: lecture) for the same course, dropping the waitlisted course may appear that you are dropping from both. In th case, only the selected waitlist section would actually be dropped. Please verify your schedule after dropping to confirm that only the selected section was dropped. Please submit an RT ticket to Registration if you experience issues.
- If you are waitlisted for multiple sections of the same class, dropping from one will remove you from all other waitlisted sections. In this case, please submit an RT ticket to Registration for assistance.
