Poll Everywhere includes a variety of report types. The Gradebook report can be used to export poll results directly to Blackboard for assessment purposes.

Tell Me

  1. First, access Poll Everywhere from Blackboard and sync your Blackboard roster to Poll Everywhere.
  2. Present your Poll Everywhere activities and collect responses.
  3. Reports can be created from the Activities Panel or the Reports Panel.
  4. From the Activities Panel, check the boxes to the left of the activities and folders you’d like to include in the report, then click the Create report action at the top of the list.

  5. Or, from the Reports Panel, select "Create Report."

  6. Select the "Gradebook" report type.

  7. If you did not select the activities to include in the report in Step 4, select the activities that should be included in the report and then select "Create Report." Activities may be selected by folder or individually.

  8. The Gradebook report name will be the name reflected in your Blackboard gradebook. You may rename the report before exporting the data to Blackboard. From the report page, select "Export" to send the grade details to Blackboard. Note: If you launched the Poll questions multiple times, be sure to select the appropriate "run" to include in the report.

  9. You will be prompted to confirm the Blackboard course that should receive the Poll Everywhere Gradebook report data. You will also be prompted to select whether grades or participation scores should be reported to Blackboard.

  10. A confirmation message will display to show that the export has been completed. Return to your Blackboard gradebook and, if needed, refresh the gradebook to see the updated column in your gradebook.

  11. If necessary, in order to re-sync grades to the Blackboard gradebook, open the report and choose the "Update Report" option as shown below:
