  • A space is a secure, digital workspace equipped with video meetings, messaging, calling, file-sharing, and white boarding. All of your work takes place within spaces.
  • There are two types of spaces: personal spaces and group spaces.


Tell Me

  1. Click the Spaces icon in the left navigation, then click the Contact a person or create a space button (plus sign).
  2. Click either Contact a Person or Create a Space.

    Personal or Group Space

    Selecting Contact a Person will be a personal chat space for just the two of you. If you want a group space select Create a Space.

  3. Click in the Add people by name or email gray box and enter the recipient’s email address or full name. The name will appear in predictive search.

    Group Spaces Note

    When creating a group space, you will have enter the name of the group space. Use something representative of the purpose for the space. A personal space won't have this option. 

  4. Click on the name or press ENTER to add the recipient(s).
  5. When you are finished, click the Create button. The new space will be added to the Spaces area and will appear at the top of the list.
