The Graduate School Request to Withdrawal form is used for students who would like to be removed from the Graduate Program at UMBC.

Workflow

First, the link to the form will be sent by the Graduate Program Department to the student. Second, the student will fill out the corresponding form with the details needed. Third, the Graduate Program Director will review the form and complete any additional information for approval.

How to fill out the form

The student will access the link to the form and be directed to a webform. After the webfrom is completed, click the 'Next' button. They will then be directed to the 'Request for Withdrawal at UMBC' form which asks for Name, Student ID, Address, Graduate Program, Degree, Email, Phone number, Withdrawal Semester and Year, and Reason for Request. This form must be signed by the student and submitted.
