Overall Process:
The student first comes to the webform and will select their financial status as either being Independent or Dependent.
If they are independent, they fill out the form and it goes to a signing group.
If they are dependent, they need to enter the name and email of the parent/guardian they are dependent on so they can fill out and sign the form.
When the student enters the form, they have to fill out information and then sign.
Again, if they’re dependent, once they’re done filling out the form and signing then it goes to their parent/guardian to sign.
After they sign the form goes to the signing group to review and initial.
Important documentation you may need:
Driver’s License
Car Registration
Letter of Verification from an HR office certifying you or the person you are dependent upon works for the USM
Deed or Lease if you declare MD as your home of residency
DD214 if you are a veteran
Documentation from company commander if MD National Guard
Ward of the State documentation
