The Registrar’s Office does a prerequisite check on all courses once the grades come in for the ending semester.  For example:  you are on the waitlist for a course that requires a C or better grade in BIOL 141.   The grade comes in for BIOL 141 and it’s a D grade.  The Registrar’s Office will run a program that will check on all prerequisites after the grades for the ending semester are posted and will notify the students who do not meet the prerequisite that they need to drop off the waitlist.  If a seat opens up for a student the system will automatically check the prerequisite and skip the student who didn’t get the appropriate grade in the prerequisite course.
