Windows:
- Launch Mozilla Firefox
- Click Tools -> Options
- Select the Applications button
- Scroll down to Compressed (zipped) folder and double-click it to open a drop-down menu
- Choose Always ask as the default file behavior, then click OK
Firefox will no longer automatically launch the program that is unzipping your files
