- On another computer, create a PowerPoint slide show using the following settings:
- Design> Page Setup > Slides sized for: On-screen Show (16:10)
- Design > Slide Orientation: Portrait
- Make sure that each slide uses a transition animation, and is set to advance after ~10 seconds.
- After creating the slide show, save it as a PowerPoint Show (NOT a Presentation)
- Copy the show to a flash drive
- On the digital sign machine, stop the show by pressing Esc on the keyboard
NOTE: you may need to plug in the mouse for the following steps. There should be a mouse on top of the digital sign computer tower. - Open the Start Up folder: C:\Documents and Settings\Sign\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
- Delete the current slide show from this folder
- Copy the new show from the flash drive to this folder
- Restart the machine
