If a Teaching Assistant (TA) needs access to Akindi and sees an error message after launching Akindi within Blackboard, please submit an RT request for Akindi access.

- Please submit an RT request if a Teaching Assistant is unable to access Akindi from within the Blackboard course of record.
- Instructional Technology will give the TA access to a separate Blackboard shell to provision Akindi access.
- The course instructor will need to launch Akindi from the Books & Tools menu and add the TA as a Collaborator, using the TA's campusid@umbc.edu email address.
- Once they have been added as a collaborator, the TA will then be able to access the designated Akindi Blackboard shell, launch Akindi from Books & Tools, and then select the correct course from their list of courses in the Akindi menu.
