UMBC DoIT holds an Enterprise account, which allows unlicensed (free) users to collaborate on sheets, reports, and dashboards.
There are limited paid licenses, as most participants can interact with sheets using unlicensed user capabilities, detailed below.
Unlicensed User Type | Capabilities |

Viewer | Can view sheets, reports, and dashboards shared with them. |
Commenter | Can view and add comments on sheets shared with them. |
Editor - cannot share | Can edit cells that exist already. Editors can add new rows and edit any cell’s content, including adding comments, attachments, and links. |
Editor - can share | Editor privileges with the ability to share. |
