A UMBC OneDrive account is available to all active students, faculty, and staff. OneDrive access will no longer be available upon leaving UMBC enrolment/employment. NOTE: Syncing a large number of files and folders may slow down your device's performance.

How to access OneDrive in Windows:

  1. In the Windows Start Menu, search for OneDrive and then click on it to open it.

  2. When OneDrive starts, type in your UMBC email address, click Sign in, and then log in to myUMBC.

  3. If this is your first time using OneDrive, follow the onscreen instructions to setup OneDrive (please refer to this article if you need more details on setting up OneDrive). During the setup, you will be asked preferences for the location of your OneDrive folder and if you want to sync files to OneDrive.
