Box at UMBC has many features that are not available for free personal Box account users. These include:
- Unlimited storage space.
- Upload files up to 15GB 50GB in size (free personal Box account limit: 250MB).
- Use your myUMBC password (i.e. single-sign-on) to access your account.
- Share files with password protection.
- Search the full text contents of files and folders.
- Access download statistics and tracking information.
- Keep track of upto 100 file versions.

IMPORTANT Note on Personal Box Accounts. Have a personal Box.com account registered under your UMBC email address (e.g. username@umbc.edu) and want to use UMBC's Box system? If you already have a personal Box account that uses your UMBC email address, you can't sign up for a UMBC Box account until you change the email address on your personal Box account to a non-UMBC email address.
