- Project Client Changes:
- Automatically checks for software updates; you can download to your computer and run. It will remind you when you open PC. Must have admin. privileges on your machine. In lower right-hand corner of PC will tell you if you need to update or if you are up-to-date.
- Allows you to specify PDF print quality (if you put up option to print a PDF copy for compound objects). Maximum will be as good as original source image. Do this In PC>Project Setting Manager>Processing
- **In Metadata template, can choose file extension from dropdown for a specified field (e.g. jpg)**
- Controlled Vocabulary Changes:
- Will update thesauri & have added Canadian Thesaurus
- Existing CV will not be automatically updated
- **Expect thesauri to be updated once/year**
- Usage Reports Changes:
- Can filter hits
- Enable by renaming default file
- Bots = standard search engines
- Reports>Server Statistics>Usage Reports>View Log Files
- Optional Data Filtering
- For large full-text collections w/dirty OCR
- Eliminates characters/strings that are not words
