How do I set up my iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to read UMBC Gmail?

1. From a desktop or laptop computer, sign up for UMBC Gmail. New accounts are created starting Fall 2010 semester are already in the UMBC Gmail environment
2. Log in to UMBC Gmail at http://gmail.umbc.edu
3. In the top right corner of the screen, select Settings by clicking the gear icon
4. Select the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
5. Next to IMAP Access, select Enable IMAP, then click Save Changes
6. Log out of UMBC Gmail, then exit your browser
7. On the iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad tap Settings
8. Tap Accounts & Passwords
9. Tap Add Account…
10. Tap Google.
11. Enter your UMBC email address in the email field and tap Sign In to be taken to the myUMBC Log In screen.
    
12. Enter your username and password in the myUMBC Log In screen and select Log In
    
13. You will be prompted with a message stating that iOS would like access to your Google Account. Select Accept
    
14. Your account should now be configured.
