Objectives of the Committee:

• To develop best practices for outreach events and social media content
• To proactively promote library services and resources to the campus community through a mix of online and in-person promotions
• To maintain an online calendar that streamlines the coordination of outreach activities
• To utilize social media (according to UMBC’s best practices) to enhance the library’s online presence and promote upcoming workshops, exhibits, and events
• To build relationships with on-campus organizations to better advertise the library’s services
