Entering Milestones
Milestones are used to show that students have completed an aspect of their program that is not recorded with a course.
Instructions
In PeopleSoft, go to Records and Enrollment > Enroll Students > Student Milestones and click “add a new value.”
Students without an existing milestone will have a blank entry. If the student has a milestone already, click the plus sign to create a new row and enter the effective date for the milestone. Enter the code for the milestone or click the magnifying glass to search.
Some milestones can reflect different levels of proficiency, which is reflected in the “level” field.
Change the flag at the bottom of the page to “completed” and save.
The completed milestone will be visible on the student’s advising profile.
Highlight important information in a panel like this one. To edit this panel's color or style, select one of the options in the menu.
