Plugged in CMOS
Connected CMOS to Data Computer via Long Blue Data Cable
THIS DIDN'T WORK
Refreshed SharpCap, didn't work
Brought CMOS downstairs and connected directly to Data Computer, this DID work
Reconnected CMOS through Long Blue Data Cable, this DIDN'T WORK
Brought laptop hub up to Dome, used this to connect CMOS to Long Blue Data Cable line from Control Room, this didn't work
USB-B to USB-A (CMOS to Hub)
USB-C to USB-A (Hub to Long Blue Data Cable)
Plugged Long Blue Data Cable into Jackson's Mac. This worked ... but required many plug-ins and refreshes
Data Cable seems fine.
We opened the mirror doors per SOP (At zenith)
Jackson checked mirror doors, they dain't open correctly.
The South Mirror Door was only half-opened.
Other doors opened fully
Tried to close and then reopen
This is widely regarded as a bad move
SO the doors nested improperly.
West and East were on top of South
So North would open, and South would be stuck
Mirror doors would be like, "Hey, something's wrong." And then nothing would happen
HAMMER TIME
Jackson, Matt, and Onkar fixed it.
Removed pins from East and West
Unplugged East, West, and South
Fastened East and West open.
Opened North and South with switchermabob
Verified that North and South opened and closed. Left them in open
Plugged in South.
Manually closed East and West
Closed North and South with switchermabob
Plugged in East and West
Verified it all worked at Zenith
Over
Roy helped by watching
The end
Notes
Long Blue Data Line is weird
Mirror Doors are finnicky
