Notes, Titles, Formats, Rights, Abstracts, Languages, DOIs, Sponsors, Conferences, Embargoes
Notes: Transfer alternative titles, embargoes, and other noted info from the notes to the appropriate column. Note that if the embargo date has already passed, it the embargo doesn’t need to be added.
Rights: If the rights statement is blank, copy and paste this into the cell “This item is likely protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Copyright Law. Unless on a Creative Commons license, for uses protected by Copyright Law, contact the copyright holder or the author.” If the rights statement is filled in, Check for missing details in the and fill them in. For example, in this rights statement, the journal title and doi need to be filled in. 'This document is the Accepted Manuscript version of a Published Work that appeared in final form in [JournalTitle], copyright © American Chemical Society after peer review and technical editing by the publisher. To access the final edited and published work see [DOI]."
Use the URL given in the dc.description.uri column to open each work. If there is no URL given in that column, the notes will provide info on where to find the work.
Check the title given on the work against the title given in the dc.title. If there is no title given, copy and paste it in.
Check the work for different versions of the title, and if you find any, copy and paste them into the dc.title.alternative column.
Fill the format into the dc.genre column.
If there is no abstract check for one or an alternative summary of the work, and if you find something, fill it in.
If the work is in a language other than English, change the value given in the dc.language.iso column to the language of the work, asking for help if you’re not sure of the language. Get language codes from
ISO 639-2 Language Code List - Codes for the representation of names of languages (Library of Congress) , use the 2nd column “ISO 639-1 Code” two letter code.
Find the DOI given the publisher’s record or the work in copy and paste it into the dc.identifier.uri column.
Check for any sponsors given on the work and copy and past them into the dc.description.sponsorship column
If the work was presented at conference, copy and paste the conference into the dc.description column
