Leisure Reading Collection - Collection Management Procedures

An Amazon wishlist was created to facilitate donor contributions to the Leisure Reading Collection.  All donors will be thanked, as always, by Collection Management and by the Friends of the Library (via Library Administrative Assistant) for purchasing a book for the LR Collection.

There are several ways to donate.

  • Donors may select a title from the wishlist and order it

  • they may send a check for $50 and designation of the wishlist title they would like to donate

  • they may send a check for $50 and designate a non-wishlist title they would like to donate

  • they may send a check for $50 and not designate a title

Books can be ordered:

Bookplates will always be “Gift of”, however donor may also add to or change that to:

  • “In honor of”

  • “In memory of”

If book is ordered via the Wishlist

  • CM Librarian will update spreadsheet and give book tostaffer, with information to be included on bookplate

  • Staff will give same information to Library Administrative Assistant for the Friends thank you letter

  • Lidia will make the bookplate, and will take the book and bookplate to Acquisitions staffer.
