Epson GT-1500 Scanning Instructions

1) Open scanner top and place document face down on glass surface. The leading edge is the upper left hand corner, and is indicated by an arrow.

2) Double click the Paperport icon located on the desktop to start the scanning program.

3) Click "My Documents" in the leftmost panel of the Paperport program.

4) Click "Scan Now" in the upper left corner of the program.

5) If prompted, select "Epson GT-1500" from the list of available scanners and click "OK."

6) If the "Configure Device Settings" dialog box opens, simply click "OK."

7) Select the type of document in the left panel under "Select Profile" (e.g. Black and White PDF, photograph, color searchable PDF).

8) Click "Scan" in the lower part of the left panel.

9) When the EPSON Scan page comes up, click preview and verify that the document looks as it should.

10) Click "Scan" and wait for the scan to finish

11) Click close and follow prompts to scan more pages if desired.

12) When finished scanning, provide a name for the file in the Document Title field. The file will be saved to My Documents. You may transfer the file to a thumb drive if so desired after the scan is complete, or email it by composing a new email, and clicking the paper clip icon and choosing your scanned document under Libraries->Documents
