Objectives of the Committee:

To develop best practices for outreach events and social media content
To proactively promote library services and resources to the campus community through a mix of online and in-person promotions
To maintain an online calendar that streamlines the coordination of outreach activities
To utilize social media (according to UMBC’s best practices) to enhance the library’s online presence and promote upcoming workshops, exhibits, and events
To build relationships with on-campus organizations to better advertise the library’s services
