Facebook Login Discontinued for myUMBC Profile Sharing

Facebook logins have been discontinued for myUMBC as of August 14, 2023. These logins were used exclusively by those that were granted access via Profile Sharing. We have added Google, Microsoft, and Amazon as login alternatives to Facebook.

This does not affect the logins of students, faculty, and staff with UMBC accounts. 

If you are a family member who has used Facebook to log in in the past, please contact your student and have them do the following steps:

  1. Go to https://umbc.edu/go/profilesharing

  2. Remove access for each person that used Facebook logins by clicking on their name and then selecting Remove ALL Access at the bottom of the details page.

  3. Share your profile with them again and ask them to accept the invitation using a login method other than Facebook.
