How do I sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud?

Adobe Creative Cloud logo, which is a red cloud.

The Creative Cloud desktop app is the main portal for accessing and licensing Adobe apps and services. For Adobe apps to function, you must be signed in to the Creative Cloud desktop app. Signing in to the Creative Cloud desktop app also automatically signs you in to any Adobe apps you have installed. To ensure your access to Adobe apps and services, please sign into the Creative Cloud desktop app as illustrated in the instructions below.

  1. Open the Creative Cloud desktop app.
  2. Type in your UMBC email address and then click Continue. NOTE: You must use your default UMBC email address when signing into the Adobe Creative Cloud since email aliases will only give you access to trial versions of Adobe apps. Also, never sign into the Adobe Creative Cloud through Continue with Google, Continue with Facebook, or Continue with Apple as doing so will also only give you access to trial versions of Adobe apps until you sign in correctly.

    3. Click Company or School Account. NOTE: If you are UMBC faculty/staff member, never select Personal Account as doing so will only give you access to trial versions of Adobe apps until you sign in correctly. The Personal Account selection is only for non-UMBC managed Adobe accounts (for example, individuals who purchased Adobe licenses directly from Adobe or student purchased licenses from the OnTheHub store). If you signed in incorrectly, sign out and select Company or School Account when you sign in again.

   4. Log in to myUMBC using your myUMBC credentials.

 5. If you run into any issues after signing in (for example, only seeing trial versions of Adobe apps), please sign out of the Creative Cloud desktop app and then sign in again as illustrated in steps 1 - 4 above. If that does not work or you have other Adobe Creative Cloud issues, please submit an RT Ticket to receive assistance.
