What if Akindi can't process the scan, even after resolving exceptions?
There are several reasons Akindi might have trouble processing your scanned sheets:
One or more of the locator squares is missing or damaged on the scanned test sheet.
The QR code is missing or damaged on the scanned test sheet.
The image is distorted due to a paper feed malfunction during scanning.
Tracking Rejected Test Sheets
Akindi will display the sheets that weren't able to be processed on the "Exceptions" Tab when viewing the results.
In the "Pages with Processing Errors" dropdown menu, Akindi will list the PDFs uploaded to that assessment, and display the number of page errors and when they were uploaded.
By selecting a PDF from the dropdown menu, Akindi will display the pages with errors and why they weren't processed.

Resolving 'Rejected' Test Sheets
Start by identifying if the the sheet was rejected due to a printing error or a scanning error. This can be done by checking if the four black corner squares and the QR code are present on the hard-copy of the test sheet then check to see if they are present on the scanned test sheet.
If the four black corner squares and the QR code are present and unaltered on the printed test sheets, but not on the scanned test sheets, then try re-scanning the sheets.
If the four black corner squares and/or the QR code are missing or damaged on the actual test sheet, than you will have to copy the responses onto an undamaged test sheet before scanning and uploading.
If you are still having difficulty and/or you have a large number of damaged bubble sheets, please place a ticket via RT.
