How do I wirelessly share my screen for local presentations using a Cisco Room Kit or Room Bar?

Press the share button on the Room Kit controller, you will see a URL to a Web Page: share.webex.com. Enter that URL into a Web Browser. You will now see a 9-Character code, enter that code into the Room Kit Controller. Then look up on the upper-left side of the TV Screen for a 4-Digit return code that you then enter into your Bowser for confirmation. You can not share your screen or any open applications with the Room Kit. Audio from your laptop is disabled during Guest Sharing at this time, please contact AV Services at 410-455-2461 with any questions regarding this.

Additionally you can share screen using AirPlay (Apple) or Miracast (Microsoft). Your laptop should be connected to UMBC’s eduroam wireless network.

Note: the Airplay and Miracast sharing features will only work if your Cisco Room Kit has been hardwired and on the AV VLAN, if unsure please call the AV Office for assistance: 410-455-2461
