How to lock and admit attendees to Webex Meetings
The host of a Webex meeting may choose to lock the room. Once a room is locked, all participants already in the room will continue working as they before but all new attendees who try to join will be placed in a lobby. Attendees in the lobby cannot hear or see anything that is going on within the Webex Meeting room. The host can admit people from the lobby or send people to the lobby.

While already hosting a meeting, use the button with three dots at the bottom to select 'Lock Meeting'.
Once the meeting is locked, all existing attendees will remain in the meeting but new attendees will be placed in the 'Lobby'. The host can also send an attendee to the lobby by right clicking their name in the participants panel and selecting 'Move to Lobby'.
Any attendees in the lobby will be displayed at the top right of the screen and may be admitted to the meeting by the host.
This is an example of what an attendee who's waiting in the lobby would see.
At any time you may unlock the meeting by going back to the button at the bottom of the screen and selection 'Unlock Meeting'. All attendees in the lobby will automatically be permitted into the meeting.
