How do I embed videos into myUMBC?

These steps will work for embedding Youtube/Vimeo videos into myUMBC posts. Knowledge and familiarity with HTML may be helpful, but is not required.

Tell Me

  1. Click Share on a YouTube video, and then click Embed.

  2. Copy the HTML Text under Embed Video.

  3. Begin composing a myUMBC post, and click the HTML button.

  4. Paste in the Embed code copied from YouTube.

  5. Click the HTML button again. The video should now show as embedded, and can be moved around in the post as needed.
