What is the Journal Entry Detail report?

The Journal Entry Detail report shows the user all revenue and expense lines in a selected entry.

Who should use this report?

Users that want to see all chart-strings affected by a journal entry.

Running the report

File Path: Financial Services > Financial Reports > Detail Reports > Journal Entry Detail

Parameters

Journal ID - Enter the 10 digit journal ID number.

How to read the report?

Only the expense and revenue transaction lines will be visible.

Sometimes the lines will not sum up to 0, as they do no include balance sheet accounts (accounts that start with 1,2, or 3).
