How do I use Qwickly student check-in with one or multiple course sections?

Qwickly Attendance allows an instructor to set up a check-in period so students can check into class using a randomly generated PIN code for that specific session. For courses sharing one Blackboard shell, however, this process will mark students who are not in a particular section as absent – for example, students in Section A check in at 10 AM, but students in Section B are marked absent. Using the Blackboard groups tool, Qwickly Attendance can distinguish between sections, but the tool must be configured and used specifically for separate sections each time the check-in is activated.

  2. Click Start Check In tab at the top of the Qwickly Attendance screen.

  3. Decide whether to display the PIN and countdown timer to students.




    The PIN is randomized for each check-in session.

  2. Next, access Qwickly Attendance from the course menu or from Control Panel -> Course Tools.
  3. Select Settings to access the configuration settings.
  4. Under the Student Grouping section at the top of the settings page, select By Course Groups.
