How do I pull UMBC user info for surveys?

1. Select a Qualtrics survey to edit from the My Surveys tab.

2. From the Edit Survey Tab, select Survey Flow.
   

3. From the Survey Flow window, click "+ Add a New Element Here" then "Then Authenticator".
   

   
   
   
   
   

4. To configure authentication:

   1. Select Authentication Type: SSO

   2. Deselect "Associate Respondent With Panel"

   3. Select "Capture respondent identifying info" then click "Add Embedded Data…" The fields have the following three options:

   4. Specify SSO Type: Shibboleth

5. Click on "Move" on the bottom right of the "Branch on Successful Authentication" module and drag it above the first question block for the survey.

6. Click the "Save Flow" button to complete editing, or cancel to terminate.
