• Incoming freshmen who apply to UMBC by November 1 are automatically reviewed for general merit scholarships.

• Incoming freshmen interested in a Scholars Program must complete the program's application.

• Incoming community college transfer students must apply by November 1 (spring applicants) and by March 15 (fall applicants) to be considered for scholarships. No separate application is required.
