How do I install Matlab?

  1. Sign in to your UMBC MathWorks account: Go here, click Sign in to get started, and sign in using your myUMBC credentials. 

  2. Click Get Started. On the top right of the page, click Install MATLAB (or go here) and download the installer for the version of MATLAB you want.

  3. After downloading the installer, click the installer to run it. 

  4. When prompted to sign in, type in your UMBC email address and then sign in to myUMBC. After that, follow the remaining onscreen instructions to continue the setup.

  5. When prompted, select the MATLAB (Individual) license and then follow the remaining onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
