How do I add an attachment to an existing RT ticket?

Tell me

  1. Login to RT using your myUMBC user ID and password.
  2. Bring up the ticket you're interested in (you may be able to search for it by typing the number in the search box at the upper right. 
  3. Click the Comment link from the Actions menu in the upper right corner.
  4. Type in comments if you want to.
  5. Under the comment field, drop the files you want to attach to the grey box or click the box to attach them.
  6. Navigate to find the document you want to attach.  Click Open.
  7. If you need to add more attachments, repeat the process.
  8. When finished, scroll down and click the Update Ticket button.
