No. Absolutely not. It is your choice. UMBC does not promote either option. We simply make them available to you, and you decide which one will work best for you. You are free to change your mind and make a different selection any time in the future. However, since paper checks will no longer be an option, you do have to select one of the two options to ensure timely delivery of your refunds.
