Billing?

Will I get a paper bill?

No. UMBC does not issue paper bills. Billing is electronic. You will receive an email to your UMBC email address when e-bills are available for viewing online.

E-Billing

UMBC bills students electronically. Paper bills are not issued for tuition and fees.

E-bills are available monthly, the first business day of each month, and are due on the 20th of each month. Late fees are assessed on the 25th of each month.

E-bills are a snapshot of student accounts. They reflect activity as of the last day of the previous month. For example, e-bills available on 9/1 reflect activity as of 8/31.

An email (to student’s UMBC email address) is sent each month as soon as e-bills are available. A reminder email is sent 7 days later, if e-bills have not been viewed.

Students access e-bills by logging into myUMBC, and selecting Billing & Personal Finances under Guide and clicking on Payments & Billing.

Authorized payers added, will receive email notifications when e-bills are available and reminder emails if e-bills are not viewed in 7 days.
