How do I change the owner of an RT ticket?
You can only assign a ticket to someone in your own group.
- Log into RT http://rt.umbc.edu
- Click on RT at a glance link on the left column.
- Click on the queue you want to work on in the Quick Search section.
- Click on the ticket number OR the subject of the ticket. RT will display the full ticket.
- Click the link labeled Basics.
- Click the drop down field labeled Owner and change the ticket owner.
- Click the Save Changes button.
