How do I change the default queue for creating RT tickets?

To change the default queue for new tickets you create in in Request Tracker:

  1. Make sure you are logged into RT at https://rt.umbc.edu/
  2. Click Logged in as ...
  3. Click Settings -> Options.
  4. Choose the desired queue from the drop down list for Default Queue, on the General panel.
  5. Click Save Changes.
  6. Exit your browser and restart it.
