What happens to my old emails when my account is migrated to UMBC Gmail?

You will not lose emails you have stored on your account. Any new mail will be delivered directly to your Gmail account. Any existing email you had stored in Webmail will be transferred to your Gmail account over the next few days. During the transition, mail that has not yet been transferred can still be accessed via Webmail.
