Notifications

  • Approvers receive email notifications for:

    • New submitted timesheets, and

    • Missing/overdue timesheets (depending on HR configuration).

  • Employees receive instant email alerts when their timesheet is rejected.

Review & rejection

  • Approvers should:

    • Review timesheets as soon as they are submitted.

    • Reject timesheets that are incomplete or inaccurate so employees can correct and resubmit before the deadline.

Impact of not approving

Faculty‑specific notes

  • 9‑month faculty:

    • Timesheets automatically generate during the academic year only (not during summer - payrolls 25–04).

    • They are expected to complete timesheets for academic periods only.

  • Faculty on sabbatical or research leave:

    • Typically handled via the On Demand or leave processes configured by HR/payroll.
