Leave Balances

Your timesheet shows several leave‑related fields:

  1. As of Pay Period

    • The end date and pay period for the As of Balance column.

    • Balances are usually two pay periods in arrears, assuming prior timesheets were submitted and approved on time.

  2. Earn Rates

    • Vacation and sick leave accrual per pay period.

    • Pro‑rated for unpaid status or if repaying borrowed leave.

  3. As of Balance

    • Calculated leave balance as of the specified pay period (see #1).

    • Includes prior usage and accruals that have already flowed through the leave management system.

  4. Anticipated Current Balance

    • A projected balance for the current timesheet period.

    • Recalculates as you save timesheets with leave usage, even across multiple timesheets.

  5. Year‑End Vacation Forecast

    • Projected vacation balance at calendar year‑end based on current usage and accrual.

Important note about holiday leave

  • Holiday and Personal balances display only in the “As of” section, since they aren’t accrued regularly.
