How do I record and Power Point presentation in YuJa with the software application (with a single monitor)
Place your Power Point presentation in a resizable window (not launch a standard slideshow). To do this:
Go to the slide show tab
Select ‘set up slide show’
Under show type select ‘browsed by an individual window’. Select OK.
Start slide show (that will appear in a resizable window)
Place your PowerPoint window on one side of the screen
Open your notes (or presenter view window) on the other side of the screen.
In YuJa, open the the Create Recording tab.
When the YuJa Software Capture window appears, take a look at the source area of the window. There should be three sources displayed; Video Source, Screen, and Mic Source. Having these three sources activated means that once started, YuJa will record from the webcam, mic and whatever is viewable on the computer screens that are selected. The menu on the left allows you to turn these sources on/off according to your needs for the recording.
Under the screen settings, adjust your display setting options. Instead of “full screen” choose “select area”
A transparent selection box with a dashed border will appear. Drag and resize the box so that it fits around your Power Point window slide.
Anything outside the box (including your notes and your computer taskbar) will not be included in the recorded frame.
Now you may click the START button to begin recording. Once the recording has begun, a small menu bar will appear on the bottom left corner of the screen. This menu will allow you to pause or stop the recording.
When the presentation is finished, click the stop button on the small menu bar to finish the recording. A Recording Session Has Ended message will appear.
Click Save to save the recording and to start the upload process.
