What are the Best Practices for Sharing Migrated Media?

Once media has been migrated and is available in your MyMedia page you may share and make it available in three ways:

  1. Embedding the media in your Blackboard course. This opton allows you to place the video in your course where you choose, You may embed the media directly on the Blackboard course page, or within an Ulta Doucment or a Ultra Discussion. See:  How do I Insert a Video in my Blackboard Course.

  1. Publishing the media to your YuJa course channel. This option allows you to provide access for your students to your media within the YuJa course channel. This channel is created when you open the YuJa tool in Blackboard and is available to students in their YuJa MyMedia page. This option will provide a list of those videos you’ve published to the course channel. See Publishing Media to Media Channels.

  1. Sharing media in a folder. This option may be used to share your media with users outside your course. You may create folders and subfolders in your MyMedia page. Folders may be shared via a link or shared with individual users. You may allow read only, edit, or full access to folders. See: Sharing Media in a Folder
