Why Are Phishing Emails Disappearing From My Inbox?

When an email is identified as a phishing attempt, security tools are used to quarantine it. This means the message is removed from all inboxes, preventing users from interacting with it. If a phishing email has already disappeared, there is no need to report it, as action has already been taken. Users should contact security@umbc.edu if they clicked on any links in the phishing email or shared sensitive information such as passwords, DUO codes, and personally identifiable information (PII).
