How do I set up my profile in SAP Concur?
Gathering points via loyalty and frequent flyer programs during official University travel is permitted if the terms of the loyalty programs are the same as available to the general public. We encourage university travelers to link and set up their loyalty accounts for an enhanced travel experience. Via Concur TripLink, this also makes the process of bringing externally booked trips into Concur a breeze.
Note that spending points on university travel is not a reimbursable expense under the UMBC Travel Policy.
To set up your profile in SAP Concur, link your loyalty accounts, and set up TripLink for linked accounts, follow these steps:
Create Your SAP Concur Profile:
Go to the SAP Concur portal at umbc.edu/go/concur and log in using your UMBC credentials.
Once logged in, navigate to the "Profile Settings" section, found in the top right menu, and click on “Personal Information”.
Fill out your personal information, including your name, contact details, and travel preferences.
Under Email Addresses, ensure that any emails that you might use to upload receipts are named. Click Verify to start the verification process for those emails.
Save your changes.
Link Your Loyalty Accounts:
In the "Profile" section, look for the "Loyalty Programs" or "Travel Preferences" tab.
Click on "Add Loyalty Program" or a similar option.
Select the type of loyalty account you want to link (e.g., airlines, hotels, car rentals).
Enter your loyalty account number and any other required information.
Save the changes to link your loyalty accounts.
Set Up TripLink for Loyalty Accounts (optional)
Verify Your Setup:
After completing the setup, check your profile to ensure all loyalty accounts are linked and TripLink is active.
You may want to test the integration by booking a trip and confirming that your loyalty points are being tracked correctly.
By following these steps, you will have successfully set up your SAP Concur profile, linked your loyalty accounts, and configured TripLink for a seamless travel experience.
